Scout Gaming Group names new CEO and CFO
DFS supplier makes acting CEO Niklas Jönsson permanent and promotes head of finance for Norway

Scout Gaming Group has appointed acting CEO Niklas Jönsson to the role on a permanent basis as the company looks towards a stable 2023 following a tumultuous 12 months.
Jönsson stepped up to become interim CEO in June 2022 after Andreas Ternström left the company.
Jönsson was working as CFO at the time and until this point held both roles at the firm.
Scout Gaming Group has confirmed Jönsson will drop his CFO remit and will be replaced internally by Andreas Olsen, who joined Scout Gaming Group in July 2022 as head of finance of Norway from EY.
The pair’s appointments come after a difficult period that saw Scout Gaming Group cull 50% of its workforce in June 2022.
The group recorded a 4% dip in Q4 2022 revenue to SEK8m, which included a 45% decrease in B2C revenue to SEK2.9m.
However, B2B revenue jumped by 70% to SEK5.1m.
After Scout Gaming announced its Q4 results, Jönsson said for the company to become profitable and cash generative would require “more transformative work” following the restructure.
