
Scientific Games lands new chief technology officer
Las Vegas-based supplier strengthens senior leadership team with the arrival of gaming veteran Victor Blanco


Scientific Games has appointed Victor Blanco as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Blanco will officially join the Las Vegas-based firm in 2022 from Australian igaming supplier Aristocrat.
He has spent 11 years at Aristocrat, having joined in 2010 as SVP global platforms before being promoted to CTO in 2016.
He previously spent four years working as director of software architecture at HTC as well as seven years across various software engineering roles at Microsoft.
At Scientific Games, Blanco will be responsible for overseeing the supplier’s technology strategy across gaming, lottery and sports betting, as well as supporting the development of games.
