Rich Schneider will join company in mid-2021 and be tasked with overseeing product strategy roadmaps

Scientific Games has appointed Rich Schneider as the company’s new chief product officer (CPO).
Schneider will join the Las Vegas-based firm in mid-2021 from his current role as chief product officer at Aristocrat.
The University of Nevada alumnus has previously held executive roles at Walker Digital Table Systems and Acres Gaming, along with leadership roles at IGT.

Schneider will replace Tim Bucher, who left the firm on 10 April this year after assuming the role in May 2018.
Commenting on his move to Scientific Games, Schneider said the firm had “brought amazing developments to our industry”.
He continued: “I am thrilled to join Scientific Games to work on the next generation of great gaming products.
“Scientific Games is known for a culture of innovation and has brought amazing developments to our industry from player-favourite games to advanced cabinets and cutting-edge systems. It’s going to be a lot of fun to work with this team to deliver the next gaming innovations.”
Scientific Games CEO Barry Cottle said: “Rich’s expertise in design, development and gaming makes him the perfect complement to our Scientific Games leadership team.”
