Sci Games appoints Stuart Weston to run Gibraltar-based sportsbook team
Stuart Weston will leave Superbet in October for sportsbook vice president role at SG Digital

Scientific Games (SG) has hired Superbet MD Stuart Weston to lead its newly-formed sportsbook operations team in Gibraltar.
SG Digital has created the new European team to help manage sportsbook operations for partnered operators, allowing for “less heavy lifting for installations and ongoing sportsbook management”.
Weston will leave Superbet in mid-October to take up the vice president of sportsbook operations role at SG Digital where he will build a new team of between 50 and 70 people, EGR Intel has learned.
Weston, who also worked for William Hill as sportsbook director, will be charged with maximising sports betting operations output and driving global growth in the sports betting market.
Keith O’Loughlin, SVP of sportsbook for SG Digital, said: “Given the massive opportunity in the US and the continued success of existing markets, the addition of sportsbook operations is a natural step up for our business.
“The team will work directly with our partners to operate and run their sportsbooks, ramping up the value of sports betting for everyone involved.
“It’s a new ball game, and our partners have asked to tap into our vast knowledge to help with day-to-day sportsbook operations.
“And now we are completely equipped to offer that capability and support customers in growing their business like never before,” he added.
