SBK looks to capitalise on Cheltenham with new content hub
London-headquartered exchange unveils the SBK Betting Zone to run alongside the newly launched Smarkets News site

Smarkets sportsbook app SBK has launched a new content hub called the SBK Betting Zone.
The launch comes less than a month after the launch of Smarkets News and just in time for the start of the Cheltenham Festival which starts tomorrow.
The site will feature unique content from top sports journalists providing betting tips, previews and opinion pieces as well as featuring exclusive content from SBK’s portfolio of horseracing ambassadors.
In the last 12 months, SBK has focused on building its racing portfolio by signing jockeys Sean Levey and Nicola Currie in September as well as trainer George Boughey and jockey Tom Bellamy in November. In February, SBK was named as the title sponsor of March’s Lincoln meeting in Doncaster.
The site will also play host to the SBK Betting Podcast, presented by Racing TV’s Jess Stafford, which was launched in September 2021.
Smarkets head of customer marketing Adam Baylis welcomed the launch highlighting the benefits of scaling up the group’s content offering. “This gives us another platform to provide our users with the latest tips and insight,” said Baylis.
“You can expect to see exclusive content from our brand ambassadors as well as a wider offering of podcast and video content in the coming months,” he added.
