Chicago-based operator hires finance veteran Kyle Sauers from logistics and supply chain firm

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has recruited Kyle Sauers as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
Sauers will join the operator from Echo Global Logistics on October 23 , where he served as CFO since October 2013.
The former Sphere Communications exec will be based in Chicago and report into RSI CEO Greg Carlin.
Sauers will be tasked with managing financial, administrative and investor relations functions for RSI, after overseeing mass growth at Echo, where the firm made 13 acquisitions and raised more than $400m in public equity and debt offerings during his tenure.
Carlin said Sauers’ past experience in scaling businesses would prove an invaluable asset to the firm.
Carlin said: “We welcome Kyle, whose drive, integrity and expertise are a strong fit with RSI’s core values and mission.
“Kyle’s proven track record as a public company CFO and extensive experience growing technology businesses make him a great addition to RSI’s management team as we continue to rapidly scale our business,” he added.
RSI is in the process of going public via tech-based Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) dMY Technology, in a $1.78bn deal that valued RSI at 5.4x its forecasted 2021 FY revenue.
