Rush Street Interactive expands Latam footprint with double opening
BetRivers operator opens offices in Colombia to service emerging markets in the region

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has confirmed the opening of two new state-of-the-art offices in Colombia as it looks to strengthen and service existing operations in the Latam region.
The first of these offices, located in the Colombian capital of Bogota, will serve as the headquarters of its Latin American operations team.
More than 8,000 sq ft in size, the office includes a full multimedia wall for watching live sports which surrounds the office space as well as an actual basketball court that also functions as the marketing team’s space.
The office’s conference rooms are designed like poker rooms, with a production set on site which simulates a stadium while lamps located throughout the building are made to resemble casino cards.
In addition, the office cafeteria aspires to replicate one of RushBet’s sports bars, which operate throughout Colombia.
The second office, located in Medellin’s El Poblado neighborhood, will play host to RSI’s Latin America-facing technology team.
“RSI chose Medellin due to its growing tech talent, which is supported by the local government’s substantial investment in its ‘Valle de Software’ initiative to create a software valley by attracting IT businesses and training students from its best Latin American universities,” the firm said in a statement.
RSI CEO Richard Schwartz hailed the opening of the two Colombian offices as proof of the operator’s commitment to the market.
“We are investing in the region’s future and recognize the importance of earning the trust and respect of the communities where we operate,” Schwartz said.
“It’s important to have the brightest and strongest local teams to execute RSI’s ambitious growth strategy,” he added.
RSI has extensive operations across Latin and Central America, having made its debut in Colombia in 2018 with the launch of the RushBet brand. Earlier this year, RSI expanded its operations into Mexico, signing a 25-year partnership with local media business Grupo Multimedios.
Under the terms of the deal, first inked in January, RSI has access to Grupo Multimedios’ media assets and distribution channels for promotional and content integration purposes.
“These new state-of-the art offices further exemplify our innovation and continued investment in Latin America and the future growth we expect in the region,” Schwartz explained.
“It was important for us to invest in creating world-class facilities to continue to attract and retain top industry talent who play a vital role in RSI’s ongoing growth in Latin America,” he added.
