Rivalry launches online casino arm as it moves ahead with product diversification
Toronto-listed operator launches new division to complement esports and traditional sports betting

Esports-first operator Rivalry has expanded its product output with the launch of its online casino arm.
The firm will initially launch its online casino in markets under its Isle of Man licence, before bringing igaming to Ontario in the coming months.
Rivalry said its new online casino division represented a “significant potential growth opportunity”.
The operator cited a stronger return rate than sports betting customers, coupled with a lack of seasonality, meant the product could provide stability throughout the year.
Rivalry’s casino will join its esports and sports betting verticals, along with its massively multiplayer online gambling games.
The casino will be populated with content from third parties, starting with crash title Aviator.
Steven Salz, Rivalry CEO, said: “Our strategy is to continuously expand our product offering and provide our customers with fresh content that is consistent with our brand.
“With a strong foundation in esports betting and a growing traditional sports business, offering casino in an authentically Rivalry way is the next step for us,” he added.
Last month, Rivalry posted a 60% year-on-year rise in Q2 revenue.
