Rithmm nets new CMO following $2m capital injection
AI-focused and female-led sports betting supplier taps ex-Fubo head James Santore to drive awareness of brand ahead of NFL launch

AI-led sports betting supplier Rithmm has followed up a $2m funding round by appointing former Fubo Gaming head James Santore as its new chief marketing officer.
Santore, who is the co-founder of marketing firm Three Two Strategies, will now be responsible for leading the startup’s marketing push.
Rithmm was founded in September 2022 and is led by female duo Megan Lanham as CEO and Kelsey Allan as COO.
The Boston-based firm received a $2m capital injection thanks to a funding round led by Boston Seed Capital earlier this month.
Counterview Capital, Oyster Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Service Provider Capital and Permit Ventures also took part in the round.
Rithmm said it would use the cash to fund its product growth ahead of a planned launch before the 2023 NFL Season.
The supplier already offers its platform for several sports including the NBA, WNBA and college sports.
Lanham said: “We are thrilled to announce the successful closure of our $2m seed funding round. We secured VC investment despite an uncertain economic climate, underscoring the unwavering confidence in our mission and the tremendous potential of our platform.
“This timely infusion of capital will play a pivotal role in propelling our technology forward, enabling us to broaden our reach with the eagerly awaited NFL product and providing our users with an unparalleled sports betting experience,” she added.
