Report: Ukraine regulator shutters fifth 1xBet site
Operator’s parent company, TBK LLC, had its licence revoked in the Eastern European country back in September

The Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL) has closed a fifth 1xBet-branded site operating in Ukraine, according to various reports.
Once the regulator requested 1xBet stop the illegal activity, the operator restricted Ukraine IP addresses from accessing the 1xBet-branded site.
KRAIL had originally revoked the sports betting operator’s licence back in September after a joint investigation between KRAIL and the Bureau of Economic Security found documents submitted by the brand’s parent company, TBK LLC, contained inaccurate information.
At the time, the Ukrainian Gambling Commission (this has been repurposed from an old article of ours, but should this be attributed to KRAIL said: “Inaccurate information was found in the documents submitted by the business entity to obtain a licence.
“Namely the information specified in the letters [noted] the relevant company is not operating in the interests of residents of foreign countries that carry out armed aggression against Ukraine, and/or whose actions create conditions for the emergence of a military conflict and the use of military force against Ukraine.”
In August, 1xBet was also in the spotlight when a 26,000-signature petition prompted Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into the brand’s ties with Russia.
In a report by UNN, the Security Service of Ukraine has also stated that it is looking into the connection of TBK LLC with Russia.
KRAIL still maintains regulatory power; however, the state agency in charge of the Ukrainian gambling market was transferred to the Ministry of Digital Transformation in September.
Recently, Ukraine’s Digital Transformation Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, reportedly said he is considering reforming Ukraine’s online gambling market to attract more international operators.
