Relax Gaming scoops four trophies at EGR B2B Awards 2021
Kindred-owned provider nets gongs for bingo, poker and casino supplier as Kambi scores a hat-trick
Relax Gaming enjoyed an evening to remember at the EGR B2B Awards 2021 after taking home four trophies during the welcome return of in-person events.
On a remarkable night where guests witnessed England book their place in the Euro 2020 final, Relax Gaming also had reason to celebrate after winning the awards for bingo supplier, poker supplier, casino software supplier and innovation in mobile.
Judges hailed the supplier’s “extremely impressive performance” and “exceptional financial growth and product innovation”, while its HexaBingo product also took the plaudits.
One judge said: “Relax Gaming are a company that truly took advantage of the lockdown and focused further on improving their content. HexaBingo is a great product for the new and fast-paced bingo player.”
Kambi also netted a hat-trick on the night, triumphing in the sports betting supplier, in-play betting software and sportsbook platform supplier categories.
Kambi VP of sales Sarah Robertson said: “After a challenging year for many of us in this industry, we are proud that the success we have delivered for our partners and the hard work of all our employees during the judging period has been recognised with these prestigious award wins.”
Evolution also had a sensational night, picking up five key awards among its various subsidiaries.
Evolution earned the live casino supplier and innovation in RNG casino software accolades, while a joint entry from NetEnt and Red Tiger emerged victorious in the innovation in slots provision section.
NetEnt was also crowned best mobile gaming software supplier as Red Tiger won the award for best mobile supplier.
One judge said: “Red Tiger have been the guys to beat this year. Sale [to NetEnt] aside, their growth and innovation has allowed them to become mainstream on so many operators, so quickly.”
The 12th iteration of the EGR B2B Awards was a hybrid event. It kicked off with a virtual awards ceremony hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke and finished with an exclusive live event at the beautiful York Lawns in Regent’s Park, London.
