Relax Gaming hires NetEnt CPO Simon Hammon
Hammon to be responsible for the overall product roadmap across all verticals, including casino, bingo and poker

Relax Gaming, developer of the Unibet poker software, has hired NetEnt’s long-standing chief product officer Simon Hammon, EGR Intel has learned.
Hammon joins the Malta-based supplier as CPO and will be responsible for the overall product roadmap across all verticals, including casino, bingo and poker.
He previously spent nearly 7 years at NetEnt where he also held the position of product manager. Prior to that Hammon was a freelance consultant focused on affiliates, bingo and casino.
Speaking to EGR, Hammon said: “I felt it was time to work with a promising, strong company with a strong reputation already, but also somewhere we could really push forward and grow again, and where I could get my hands dirty.

“There are lots of companies out there but I chose Relax largely because it’s got a great reputation, a great product, and because I feel there is huge potential within the company,” he added.
Since Hammon’s departure, NetEnt has promoted former head of product, Henrik Fagerlund, to CPO. Fagerlund has held a number of roles at the supplier since 2014 and prior to that was a gambling consultant in Stockholm.
