RAY launches Playtech live casino
Finnish gambling operator goes live with custom-built live casino product featuring new presenter concept
Finnish gambling operator Rahaautomaattiyhdistys (RAY) has launched a new-look live casino product via its partnership with Playtech as it looks to increase its online portfolio of products in the country.
Playtech has provided the bespoke live casino product, which is to be broadcast from a purpose-built studio within RAY’s Espoo-based headquarters in order to meet Finland’s licensing requirements.
The product has been tailored to RAY’s Finnish audience and instead of having formal dealers host the blackjack and roulette games, informally dressed ‘presenters’ will interact with the customers.
“We are thrilled with the new product which is not only the best in class and the most advanced, but also the most flexible and comprehensive which allowed us to have purposefully taken a friendlier and fresher approach to live dealer,” Timo Kiiskinen, senior VP of business operations at RAY, said.
While the live casino will originally launch on desktop, a mobile product has also been lined up to launch in the coming weeks.
RAY signed a two-year extension to its licence agreement with Playtech in April last year, taking the four-year agreement originally signed in 2010 into 2016.
