Raw iGaming unveils Malaga games studio
Supplier expands European footprint with the opening of Andalusian hub for development and design teams

Start-up online casino developer Raw iGaming has unveiled a new games studio in the southern coastal Spanish city of Malaga.
The studio will become a hub for Raw iGaming’s development teams and will become home to more than 30 employees across design and development by the end of 2022.
The space will feature relax areas and a canteen as the company looks to develop a “perfect balance between work and play”.
The developer has also kickstarted a recruitment drive to coincide with the opening of the hub, with the firm looking for artists, animators and software engineers.
Raw iGaming said it had considered several other locations for the studio before choosing Malaga.
Henrik Fagerlund, Raw iGaming COO, said: “Malaga was the right choice for us with its great infrastructure, close access to a major airport and being one of the top cities in Spain.
“The combination of great universities in the region and the fact that there is already established igaming companies here and in neighbouring Gibraltar makes this a great place for talent acquisition, too,” he added.
Last month, Raw iGaming onboarded industry veterans Ricardo Ruiz and Fagerlund to assume the roles of CTO and COO, respectively.
