Rank Interactive snaps up new head of HR from William Hill

Rank Interactive has appointed Heather Kemp from William Hill as its new head of HR.

Kemp, who worked in three different employee-facing roles between May 2018 and July 2022 at William Hill, joins the digital gaming company having most recently served as head of people based in Gibraltar.

The University of Hull Law graduate joined William Hill, her first job in the industry, in May 2018 as people analytics manager at the firm’s head office in Leeds.

Having spent just over a year in that position, Kemp, who obtained a postgraduate qualification in employment and civil litigation law from CILEX Law School, moved into the role of senior human resources business partner until July 2020.

Prior to her work at William Hill, Kemp spent just over four years at ASDA working first as a claims team coach in the supermarket giant’s risk management, insurance and claims department before moving into a HR focused-role as people insight manager after two years.

In her new job, Kemp, who is remaining in Gibraltar, will head up, among other functions, payroll, learning and development and the implementation of employment law for Rank Interactive.

In a post on LinkedIn, Kemp said she was “delighted” to be joining Rank Interactive.
