Former Charlton Athletic and Chelsea defender joins Spotlight Sports Group team for new football season

Minto will now lead the line for Racing Post’s football coverage this season, in partnership with Betfred, beginning with The Big Kick Off ante post bet preview show.
The presenter will also front a brand-new programme called Different League from 9 September, which runs the rule over football’s biggest talking points and provides Fantasy Football advice.
Minto began working with Racing Post parent company Spotlight Sports Group on 1 September.
“Scott has an unrivalled knowledge of football having worked across English and Spanish football in his time at Sky,” said Elliot Hackney, head of content marketing at Spotlight Sports Group.
“When you also factor in he played at the highest level of English football, as well as in the Champions League, then it brings real authority to our content of a different type,” he added.
Coming soon! Delighted to announce I’ll be leading the line for the @racingpost on a new weekly show called Different League
