Pragmatic Solutions appoints ex-Entain exec as COO
Michael Boylan swaps B2C for B2B as he confirms new role with supplier after 17 months with DAZN BET

Pragmatic Solutions has appointed former Entain head Michael Boylan as its new chief operating officer (COO).
Boylan moves to the supplier from challenger brand DAZN BET, where he spent 17 months as IT director, having joined from Entain in April 2022.
DAZN BET, the B2C brand of OTT streaming giant DAZN, enacted a mass hiring spree last year as part of its attempt to achieve cut through.
The brand is powered by Pragmatic Solutions and recently secured a German sports betting licence.
Boylan will join Pragmatic Solutions in September and will be based in Gibraltar.
Prior to DAZN BET, Boylan spent four years as Entain’s IT director between June 2018 and April 2022.
He previously served as director of service operations for Ladbrokes Coral and as IT director for Gala Coral before its merger with Ladbrokes.
Boylan also spent time with Sportingbet earlier in his igaming career.
Boylan said: “After circa 18-plus years on the B2C side of business, it is with genuine excitement that I’m making a move into B2B with platform market-leader Pragmatic Solutions.
“I’ve been a licensee of their products for over a year now and can attest to the commitment and energy brought by the team to deliver a world-class service and product to clients.
“I join Ashley Lang and his excellent team as chief operating officer, effective 1 September, and look forward to my next chapter. I bring experience from an operational perspective to help drive value for operators in the technology Pragmatic offers, and in the innovations we will continue to bring to market,” he added.
Pragmatic Solutions was founded in 2014 and went live in 2018. It is headed up by former bet365 exec Ashley Lang as CEO.
