Polish bookie STS eyes UK push with BetConstruct-powered product
Operator secures licences in the UK and Malta as it looks to target large Polish populations living abroad

Polish bookmaker STS is set to launch in the UK and an array of other European markets as the firm looks to focus on Polish communities living abroad with a new BetConstruct-powered product.
The Warsaw-based operator, which claims to have a nearly 50% share of its home market, recently secured licences in the UK and Malta, with plans to expand into a number of markets including Germany, Slovenia and Latvia.
According to STS CEO Mateusz Juroszek, the company’s new international strategy will initially target the estimated two million Poles currently living outside of Poland.
“Our brand awareness among these people is extremely high, so our goal is to take advantage of this significant competitive advantage,” he added.
“STS is the undisputed leader of the Polish bookmaking market,” Juroszek added. “After the success of the company in the country, it’s time to start operations in Europe.”
The Polish bookmaker’s new international sports betting and gaming products will be powered by BetConstruct, which earlier this week became Arsenal’s Official Gaming Software Partner.
“STS is the first Polish bookmaker to expand its gaming audience to the European region,” said Vigen Badalyan, founder and CEO of BetConstruct.
“For the company to conquer the new markets, we guarantee full compliance with the regulated markets and an excellent performance of our comprehensive solutions.”
Last year, STS completed a number of sponsorship deals, including an extension to its agreement with the Polish Football Association.
