PokerStars recruits David Ginola for French sports betting ad campaign
Former Tottenham star to front “La Grosse Cote” marketing drive as PSG kickstart Champions League campaign against Manchester United

PokerStars has added David Ginola to its brand ambassador ranks as the operator launches a new ad campaign targeting French sports bettors.
The French football legend will front PokerStars Sports’ new “La Grosse Cote” campaign, which aims to communicate the brand’s increased match odds and promotional offers to punters.
Ginola, who played 17 times for two-time World Cup winners France, will also lead PokerStars Sports’ Superboost campaign every week during the Champions League and Ligue 1 season, beginning with Paris Saint-Germain’s group stage game against Manchester United on 20 October.
“David’s charisma and charm made him the perfect choice to lead this role and bring passion and talent into our development plans in France,” PokerStars marketing director Tom Warren said.
“La Grosse Cote offers exceptional odds on matches that our community is most interested in and we can’t think of anyone better to bring these offerings to life.
“We look forward to working closely with him on more ways to truly engage our community,” Warren added.
Ginola joins football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, as well as Hollywood A-lister Kevin Hart, in signing up with the global poker heavyweight.
“Becoming a PokerStars ambassador is a great honour,” Ginola said.
“I am very happy to take on this exciting role and to be able to share an exciting joint adventure with the PokerStars community.
“It will be great to announce La Grosse Cote. Increasing match odds is a great way to ignite sports betting,” the former Newcastle and Tottenham winger added.
