PokerStars opens second Isle of Man office to aid expansion plans
Operator says new manpower needed to handle growing online casino and sports betting businesses

PokerStars has opened a second office in the Isle of Man with space for up to 42 staff, the operator announced today.
The new office, which was officially opened Wednesday by Isle of Man chief minister Howard Quayle, currently houses 20 staffers.
“PokerStars is constantly expanding to meet the demand of our growing player base around the world, particularly in our newer online casino and online sports betting businesses,” said Eric Hollreiser, Amaya vice president of corporate communications.
“We are very happy to be on the Isle of Man and happy to continue to invest in the island. We look forward to welcoming new employees in the future and continuing to support the island’s egaming sector and Manx economy.”
The office is situated in the Quay West building on Bridge Road in Douglas, close to the existing PokerStars headquarters which houses 395 people.
The firm said there is currently an open headcount of 112, “demonstrating that PokerStars is still looking to recruit a high number of staff in the Isle of Man”.
The company moved to the Isle of Man back in 2005.
