PointsBet secures Colorado betting partner

PointsBet today named Double Eagle Hotel and Casino as its partner for sports betting in the state of Colorado.

Under the deal, PointsBet will operate the casino’s retail sportsbook and offer online and mobile sports wagering, subject to the passing of legislation.

Colorado citizens will vote whether to allow sports betting in the state in the November 2019 elections. The deal is also contingent on licensing from the Colorado Division of Gaming.

The retail sportsbook will include a sports bar, multi-screen video and odds display wall, additional casino gaming options and on-site viewing parties for major sporting events.

PointsBet also has a partner for betting in Illinois and a second-skin deal with Jeff Gural’s Tioga Downs in New York.
