
Playtech crowned Platform of the Year at EGR B2B Awards
Online gaming operator wins two awards in total at Wednesday’s ceremony


Playtech took home the highly coveted Platform of the Year award at the EGR B2B awards ceremony last night, held at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in London.
The London-listed firm was also crowned Poker Software provider at the ceremony, hosted by comedian Alun Cochrane.
BetGenius also had a very successful evening, taking home four awards, for Sports Betting Supplier, Sports Data Provider, Esports Supplier and Acquisition and Retention Partner of the year.
The EGR B2B awards recognise the most creative and suppliers and gaming professionals in the online gaming industry, rewarding those who have pushed themselves to bring something new to the sector in the last 12 months.
Square in the Air won their fifth consecutive Marketing and PR provider of the Year award, with managing director Bill Esdaile saying: “Landing a fifth consecutive EGR B2B Award is a huge achievement. We’ve enjoyed a record 12 months and this is a fantastic recognition of our accomplishments. I’m incredibly proud of the team and the high standards we continue to set,”
Red Tiger Gaming picked up two awards for RNG Casino supplier and Mobile supplier, while Evolution Gaming, NetEnt and Gamevy also among the winners.
