
PlayOJO debuts bingo offering for UK market

Online casino operator PlayOJO has unveiled its first ever bingo offering targeting UK players as the firm eyes an increased share of the market.
PlayOJO Bingo features bingo from Pragmatic Play including 90-ball, 80-ball and 75-ball variants plus an industry-first Bingo Blast game. It will offer over £300,000 in guaranteed prizes every month as well as progressive and community jackpot games.
As part of its diversification into the bingo vertical, PlayOJO has also confirmed it will launch an exclusive Equaliser bingo room with a selection of equal-chance bingo games.
In tandem with other PlayOJO games, PlayOJO Bingo will operate no wagering requirements, no maximum wins from bonuses, and no withdrawal restrictions. The new brand aims to specifically target female players aged between 35 and 55.
The PlayOJO brand already attracts a player base evenly split between gender and with a similar socio-economic profile to a typical bingo site.
PlayOJO has revealed that the launch of PlayOJO Bingo will be supported by a “substantial seven-figure” above-the-line and digital marketing campaign, which features a TV creative from advertising agency McCann.
The launch follows research conducted by PlayOJO, which found that a quarter of existing PlayOJO players were already playing bingo online via competitor sites.
PlayOJO head of bingo Andrew Steddy highlighted the “significant” proportion of the firm’s existing player base that were already interested in bingo games and how catering for that need would increase its UK market share.
“PlayOJO Bingo will also enable us to reach out to an even broader demographic, introducing more players to the OJO brand and its fair play philosophy,” said Steddy.
