Pinnacle names new chief revenue officer
Curaçao-based operator promotes from within as Aleksandra Sygiel is promoted to C-suite

Pinnacle has promoted its director of international development, Aleksandra Sygiel, to become the operator’s new chief revenue officer (CRO).
Sygiel joined Pinnacle in November 2021 as director of international development and will now step up to a C-level role for the first time in her career.
Having worked in the industry for almost a decade, Sygiel cut her teeth in igaming after joining Betway subsidiary Win Technologies in November 2014 in the marketing division.
In April 2016, she swapped London for Malta after joining LeoVegas Group as a commercial and CRM manager.
Sygiel was promoted to business development and expansion manager in March 2018 where she oversaw brand and product launches in Sweden, Spain and Germany.
In January 2020, Sygiel was named head of business development for the Swedish operator.
Speaking to EGR, Sygiel said: “I am extremely grateful for the trust that our CEO Paris Smith and the executive team has put in me over the past 12 months. To be tasked with driving the growth of one of most successful companies in igaming is an absolute thrill.
“With our 20 years of experience in the market, unique business model, and a genuine story to tell our customers, we’re extremely well positioned to take the Pinnacle brand to new heights.”
Touching on the appointment of Sygiel, CEO Smith commented: “Marketing Pinnacle’s unique product requires an in-depth understanding of the business, the advantages to all players and to the broader model.
“We’re very confident that Aleks and her team will bring that awareness of quality of product and value to the market. We’ve been fortunate to bring in a number of talented new team members, like Aleks, and look forward to more fantastic growth in 2023.”
Last year, Pinnacle was granted a licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to launch in the regulated Ontario market.
The high volume, low-margin bookmaker previously boasted a strong presence when the province was a grey market, and is now facing up against heaving hitters in the shape of FanDuel, Betway and theScore Bet.
Pinnacle finished 23rd in the EGR Power 50 2022 rankings.
