Pinnacle becomes official sponsor of new esports league
Operator will provide in-play match odds for new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition FLASHPOINT

Pinnacle has been confirmed as the first official sponsor of FLASHPOINT, a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports league launching later this month.
As FLASHPOINT’s sports betting partner, Curaçao-headquartered Pinnacle will be afforded branding during pre-show activities, such as fan polls and predictions, and will provide match odds for in-play betting.
FLASHPOINT is the first team-owned CS:GO league and features 12 sides – two of which will join the fold via open qualifiers with £2m available in prize money.
Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith said: “Pinnacle’s passion for esports over the last decade has driven us to always look at ways to improve the customer experience and continue to build our presence within the community. While we do a lot of work internally to ensure that happens, partnering with FLASHPOINT is also an integral part of achieving these goals.
“At the very outset we were aligned in our goals of helping the industry grow and the esports community thrive. We’ve built a solid track record, and we’re very excited about what the next chapter has in store,” she added.
FACEIT, the league’s organisers, agreed a sponsorship agreement with Pinnacle in March for the Esports Championship Series (ECS), another of their competitions.
FACEIT discontinued the ECS in December 2019 in favour of launching FLASHPOINT, with Pinnacle migrating across to the new league.
