Peter & Sons follows up SkillOnNet investment with dual hire
Games development studio brings on Maor Nutkevitch and Christina Mirnaia following strategic investment in January

Startup studio Peter & Sons has brought on two industry veterans, including a new co-CEO, as it looks to build on January’s investment from SkillOnNet.
Maor Nutkevitch has joined the firm as co-CEO but he will also retain his position of SVP of corporate development at SkillOnNet.
Nutkevitch will help lead the firm in its planned growth and expansion into key regulated markets.
Before his time at SkillOnNet, Nutkevitch was a senior corporate development manager at The Stars Group between January 2019 and June 2020.
He has also spent time in a number of financial institutions before joining the igaming industry with Playtech in September 2017.
Nutkevitch spoke about what the investment from SkillOnNet means for the studio.
He said: “Peter & Sons’ partnership with SkillOnNet allows it to target many new regulated markets, such as the UK, Spain, Germany, Ontario and more.
“Having the ability to distribute the games in many regulated markets is a fantastic platform for growth which is not always available for relatively new studios. It’s really exciting to be part of a project at such a key moment in Peter & Sons’ trajectory.”
Peter & Sons has also added Christina Mirnaia as its head of account management. Mirnaia joins the studio from fellow supplier Barbara Bang, where she was the head of partnerships and business development.
Before that, Mirnaia spent time at bwin and Evoplay and also held various roles in the telecommunications and advertising industries.
Mirnaia will further Peter & Sons’ ongoing relationship with current clients such as Yggdrasil, Relax Gaming and Bragg Gaming.
She will also help drive engagement via the firm’s RGS platform.
On her new role, Mirnaia said: “It’s always exciting to join a fast-growing project and to be part of building something special, and Peter & Sons has been like a breath of fresh air for the industry.
“I also can’t wait to start working with the Peter & Sons team, which is amazingly dynamic, professional and creative, producing games that are already making waves in the industry.”
On the dual appointment, Yann Bautista, Peter & Sons founder and commercial director, said: “I’d officially like to welcome Maor and Christina to the team and say how thrilled we are to have you both on board. This is a major milestone in the short life of our studio as we continue our journey to becoming a major force in the content world.”
Peter & Sons was established in 2019 and boasts two main offices in Barcelona and the Armenian capital of Yerevan. It secured an undisclosed investment from SkillOnNet back in January to facilitate its next growth phase.
