Parimatch Tech opens new Czech office
Online operator fast-forwards restructure plans following Russian invasion as it reaffirms commitment to Ukrainian workforce

Parimatch Tech has opened a new research and development hub in Prague as it ramps up its global expansion plans.
The office is currently providing a space for employees who were forced to leave Ukraine, and efforts will eventually turn to it becoming a dedicated R&D centre.
Parimatch Tech said it was planning to add 200 developers to its workforce at the Czech centre.
The new space, which Parimatch Tech plans to become a “unifying hub” for its European employees, was opened ahead of schedule due to the ongoing Russian-led war in Ukraine.
Before the Russian invasion, Parimatch Tech’s largest R&D centre was located in Kyiv but was restructured into several smaller co-working areas across the west of the country.
Parimatch Tech now holds three offices in Ukraine in Kyiv, Lviv and Uzhhorod.
The operator noted it would also focus on hiring Ukrainian talent but said the Czech Republic was a fertile ground for tech candidates.
Maksym Liashko, Parimatch Tech CEO, said: “The opening of the Prague office continues our European expansion. Opening that hub and starting operations in the EU are part of Parimatch Tech’s long-term strategy of developing a global IT cluster.
“The war made us act swiftly and strengthened our dedication to business globalisation. We are currently focusing on creating the best working conditions possible for our teams located in the Czech Republic.
“Our goal is to create a thriving business environment and ensure the safety and wellbeing of every employee and their family. Still, I would like to stress that Ukraine remains our key R&D hub,” he added.
