Paddy Power to close mobile casino app
Flutter Entertainment-owned operator migrates live casino vertical and slots titles to Paddy Power Gaming app

Paddy Power will shut down its casino app for good this month as the operator’s online gaming content migrates to the Paddy Power Games app.
From August, Paddy Power’s casino and gaming content will be made available in just one location across the iOS and Android stores, while a separate app for sports betting will remain.
The operator has pledged to add even more slots titles and games to the app than ever before as consumers get to grips with the mobile transition.
Slots, daily jackpots, Jackpot King and live casino will all be accessible on the same app, which has been developed by software specialists for a “slicker, faster and easier-to-use” experience.
A new search tool has also been launched on Paddy Power Games to allow for smoother navigation.
“Sadly, this means the Paddy Power Casino app will be closing its metaphorical doors, but don’t worry about all your favourite e-croupiers, virtual door staff and 8-bit bartenders, they’re all coming over to Paddy Power Games as well,” said spokesman Paddy Power.
“So, hats off once again to the pale guys and girls with degrees in the basement. We think you’re going to love the all-new, all-singing, all-dancing Paddy Power Games.”
Gaming revenue for PPB Online jumped 17% year-on-year to £88m in Q1 2020.
