Paddy Power Betfair head of racing departs
Will De Nardo brings down curtain on time with Flutter after stints in Leeds and the US with various brands

Paddy Power Betfair head of racing Will De Nardo has departed the firm after almost a decade with Flutter Entertainment-associated brands.
De Nardo departs Paddy Power Betfair having joined the brand in March 2021 as head of racing.
He joined Paddy Power Betfair after a stint in the US with FOX Bet between August 2019 and March 2021 as its director of customer marketing.
De Nardo first got on board with the igaming industry back in October 2013 when he took a role in Sky Betting & Gaming’s social media division.
He quickly rose the marketing ranks, becoming a football marketing executive in April 2015 and then sportsbook marketing manager in November 2016.
In his final role with the Leeds-based operator, De Nardo was appointed senior sportsbook marketing manager in April 2019.
Touching on his decision to leave Flutter, De Nardo said it “wasn’t an easy decision” but that he was looking forward to what the future holds.
“After nearly a decade working across Sky Bet, FOX Bet and Betfair – last week was my final day at Flutter,” he said.
“Over the last 10 years I have had the privilege of working with some extremely talented colleagues, as well as being involved in the growth of some incredible sports betting brands at pivotal times for the industry in both the UK and the US.
“There have been far too many highlights for me to list and far too many people to thank for helping me along the way. I am extremely grateful for all the opportunities over the years and for everything I have learnt that has helped define my career so far,” De Nardo added.
