Sportsbook software supplier OpenBet signs agreement with US land-based casino-slot provider Aristocrat to take a number of its games online - paves way for entry into lucrative market once regulation passes.

Sportsbook and online gaming software supplier OpenBet has signed an agreement with US land-based casino-slot provider Aristocrat to take a number of its games online and to make them available to operators through its games package releases and its subsidiary, Electracade.
The first games to be available include Geisha, which will feature the 5-reel, 20-line game with “all the fun, excitement, colours and graphics of the original casino version”, a statement read this morning, and slot game Wicked Winnings.
David Loveday (pictured), CEO of OpenBet, said: “This major partner agreement with Aristocrat is another example of how OpenBet can work with companies to ensure that the best content is available to online operators. The gaming industry has been going through a transition that is seeing proven land-based content transcending to online platforms. OpenBet’s leading platform allows companies, such as Aristocrat, to deliver their popular content to a much wider and growing audience.”
Sam Nickless, managing director, emerging businesses and strategy at Aristocrat, said: “Our multi-year partnership with OpenBet gives Aristocrat the opportunity to rapidly progress our online content strategy. Combining our top performing games with OpenBet’s expertise and strong reputation will create a compelling offering for both players and operators.”
