
Online betting makes up 18% of Pennsylvania June revenues
First three operators to launch online report $369,133 in gross revenue with SugarHouse dominating the market


Pennsylvania’s first full month of online sports betting saw the state bring in $2m in total revenues with a handle of $46.3m.
Online betting in Pennsylvania accounted for 18% of gross revenue in June, a month after being launched by three of the eight licensed operators.
State-wide online gross revenue reached $369,133, with a handle of $19.3m, while the state’s total revenues were down 28% on the previous month to $2m.
SugarHouse dominated the market, reporting $465,096 in online revenues, while Parx Casino came in second with $18,432. Rivers made a loss of $114,395.
SugarHouse saw an overall handle of $23.3m and revenues of $932,112, while Rivers reported revenues of $132,913 despite a monthly handle of $7m.
Parx’s June handle was $5.5m while revenues came to $385,638.
Neighboring state New Jersey saw betting revenues drop 37% to $9.7m in June.
