Oddschecker’s Million Pound Predictor returns after record 2023-24 season
Free-to-play title set to deliver “strong engagement” throughout the season with users able to win £1m for guessing the final standings of the Premier League table

FairPlay Sports Media is rolling out the free-to-play Million Pound Predictor game on the Oddschecker brand after a record year last season.
The game offers players the chance to win £1m should they successfully predict the final Premier League table.
Oddschecker said the title had proven to deliver “strong engagement” during previous campaigns.
The mechanics of the game sees players drag and place the order for the final table for the end of the 2024-25 season.
The table also includes each teams’ odds to win the title, finish in the top four and to be relegated.
Players can also choose to randomise their selection or view the table by the most popular picks.
Last season saw Manchester City win their fourth league title in a row, while all three newly promoted sides returned to the Championship straight away.
However, just two players picked 10 correct places and only 0.9% of players backed Aston Villa to finish fourth.
Manchester United’s poor league form saw the Red Devils finish in eighth as their final standing wiped out 97% of players’ predictions.
FairPlay Sports Media said last year delivered a record number of entrants.
Chris Gillett, FairPlay Sports Media director of brand, said: “The Million Pound Predictor has cemented itself as an annual tradition for Oddschecker players when the new Premier League season returns each year. And with it being a free shot at life-changing money, it really is a no-brainer to take part.
“I’ve got a few thoughts of my own about where certain teams will under and over perform, but I know there are thousands of Oddschecker users out there who will be readying their form books and analytics for the new season to find that edge and potentially nail down those 20 correct team placements.”
The new Premier League season starts this Friday, with Fulham heading to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.
