Oddschecker promotes from within to fill newly created CTO role
Affiliate firm actions managerial restructure as incumbent head of technology is handed additional duties

Oddschecker has appointed Matt Robinson as the group’s new chief technology officer (CTO) as part of a managerial restructuring at the affiliate business.
Robinson has served as oddschecker’s head of technology since August 2016, and will take on the newly created role of CTO with additional duties.
EGR understands that Robinson will now be responsible for technical oversight and team management across all brands that come under the oddschecker Global Media umbrella, in addition to his existing duties as head of technology.
Robinson will continue to be based in the UK and report into oddschecker CEO Toby Bentall.
The former Logica software developer first joined oddschecker in 2012 before becoming head of international software development in 2015.
Speaking on his new position, Robinson said he was “excited about the new challenge” with the group.
He said: “After nearly eight years with the business, I’m excited about the new challenge that the group role gives me.
“I’m looking forward to taking the oddschecker technical achievements to the other brands in the oddschecker Global Media portfolio and creating a core set of oddschecker Global Media services to facilitate greater inter-product integrations,” he added.
