Novibet transitions to new proprietary mobile platform
Operator shifts to in-house angular SPA as it looks to use tech as a “cornerstone” of development roadmap

Novibet has transitioned to a new proprietary mobile website as the sports betting operator looks to improve user experience.
The firm has migrated to a new angular single-page application (SPA) platform and has seen a 283% performance increase and improved, smoother site navigation.
SPAs are web applications that load a single HTML page which automatically and dynamically updates as the user interacts with it, without the need for manual refreshes.
Novibet said the new mobile site had tackled previous site issues including duplications, lack of flexibility and slow development times.
The operator has also recently migrated to the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and EGR understands technology is viewed as the key contributing factor to the company’s growth roadmap, including aligning with new technology trends, evolving to meet customer needs and remaining innovative.
Speaking to EGR, Novibet chief technology officer Sotiris Haritos said constant change and adaptation was the key to success.
He said: “Having our own proprietary gaming platform is unquestionably the result of exceptional and devoted hard work, so it comes with great responsibility.
“The platform needs constant nurturing and investment and, on our side, we need to embrace the idea of constant change since this is the only efficient way to keep innovating,” he added.
