Nottingham Forest’s Harry Toffolo charged with 375 breaches of FA betting rules
Defender charged with over 100 more alleged breaches than Ivan Toney who was banned for eight months in May

Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo has been charged with breaching FA rules on betting 375 times over a three-year period.
It is alleged the Englishman breached FA Rule E1(b) hundreds of times between 22 January 2014 and 18 March 2017.
The offences are alleged to have taken place while Toffolo played for Norwich City, Swindon Town, Rotherham, Peterborough and Scunthorpe.
Toffolo joined Nottingham Forest last summer following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has until 19 July to provide his response to the charges.

Neither Toffolo nor Nottingham Forest have released a statement concerning the matter, at the time of writing.
The charges come less than two months after Brentford striker Ivan Toney was suspended from all football and football-related activity for eight months after breaking the FA’s betting regulations.
Toney was charged with an initial 262 breaches before the FA subsequently withdrew 30 of them, with the England forward admitting to the remaining 232.
Toney was also handed a £50,000 fine. He will be able to play again from 16 January 2024.
Toney and Toffolo both played together for a brief period at Scunthorpe for five months between January and May 2017.
