Norsk Tipping installs interim CEO
Tonje Sagstuen to step up to top job next month as board of directors look to source permanent successor to Thor Gjermund Eriksen

Norsk Tipping has named Tonje Sagstuen as the group’s interim CEO.
Sagstuen will start her new role on 1 September as the Norwegian firm moves to sure up its leadership team following the resignation of Thor Gjermund Eriksen in June.
Eriksen joined Norsk Tipping in April 2022 but is stepping down to join Bane NOR, Norway’s government agency responsible for the country’s railway network.
Eriksen will depart Norsk Tipping on 31 August, having previously communicated that he would leave on 1 October.
Sagstuen will continue as interim CEO until a permanent successor to Eriksen has been appointed.
Sagstuen has been with Norsk Tipping since 2014 and currently serves as director for responsibility, society and communications.
Sylvia Brustad, Norsk Tipping chair, said: “The process of hiring Thor Gjermund Eriksen’s successor is underway. We must have a thorough process and use the time necessary to provide the company with a good CEO.
“I am happy that Tonje has agreed to lead the company until a new CEO can take over,” she added.
