NHL continues European expansion with Interwetten
Austrian operator secures advertising and rights deal across Austria and Germany

Austrian gaming operator Interwetten has inked a multi-year deal with the NHL securing marketing exclusives across Germany and Austria.
The deal has secured prominent marketing opportunities for Vienna-based Interwetten including presence on digital assets NHL.com/de, the German language version of NHL.com, as well as permissions to use official NHL logos and marketing.
Interwetten will also have access to NHL assets including unique marketing across social platforms as well as via email and content.
NHL has been securing a number of European deals in the last 12 months, taking advantage of the region’s love for ice hockey. The latest deal with Interwetten follows NHL partnerships with Liga Stavok in Russia, Olybet in the Baltic region and Tipsport in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
John Lewicki, NHL vice-president of international business development and partnerships, said of the tie-up: “We are excited to welcome Interwetten as an official partner of the NHL.
“Interwetten is a leader in the sports betting category, delivering great entertainment to their customers through creative marketing initiatives. We look forward to working with Interwetten to engage the ever-growing hockey fan base across Austria and Germany.”
