News UK realigns betting and gaming division under talkSPORT to boost cross-sell
Dream Team, Sun Bingo and Sun Racing will be cross-sold to talkSPORT listeners and website visitors

News UK is moving its The Sun-branded betting and gaming products under the umbrella of commercial radio station talkSPORT.
The Dream Team, Sun Bingo and Sun Racing teams will now report into Scott Taunton, CEO of Wireless, the radio business that runs TalkSPORT and was acquired by News UK in 2016.
News UK hopes to cross-sell its gambling portfolio to talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2’s 3.3 million weekly listeners and 3.6 million unique monthly website users under the new strategy.

Wireless CEO Scott Taunton
Taunton said: “Dream Team, Sun Bingo and Sun Racing are extremely successful betting and gaming brands, and core revenue streams for The Sun and News UK.
“Working more closely with talkSPORT will allow us to continue to grow engagement, as well as fast-track innovation and introduce the brands to millions of pre-qualified new talkSPORT fans.”
Sun Racing launched its affiliate model in 2018 as a free-to-use app in partnership with Betway, Coral, Ladbrokes, William Hill and Unibet.
