New Dutch market entrant Betnation joins the IBIA
Smart Gaming brand becomes latest member, with organisation now boasting more than 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands as part of its network

Betnation has partnered with the International Betting Integrity Agency (IBIA) following the launch of its online sports betting operations last month.
The Dutch operator went live in May, thanks to Metric Gaming and Bragg tech, and has become the latest firm to sign up to the integrity company’s monitoring network.
The IBIA is currently made up of more than 50 organisations and 125 sports betting brands.
It has longstanding partnerships in place with some of the leading sports governing bodies, including FIFA and the International Olympic Committee, and uses information from its members to protect sports betting markets from match fixing.
With Betnation partnering with the body, it now represents more than 90% of licensed sportsbooks operating in the Netherlands.
Khalid Ali, IBIA CEO, said: “[The] IBIA is delighted that Betnation has chosen IBIA as its preferred integrity monitoring partner.
“The move highlights Betnation’s commitment to protecting the integrity of its betting products, consumers and related sporting events by utilising the world’s leading operator-led monitoring and alert network.
“IBIA looks forward to working closely with Betnation and to integrating the operator within our global sports betting integrity system.”
Robert Schouten, CEO of Betnation parent company Smart Gaming, commented: “We are thrilled to join [the] IBIA and affirm our commitment to promoting the highest standards of integrity in sports betting.
“By working with industry leaders, we aim to ensure a safe and fair betting experience for all users.”
Two operators, Novibet and Yolo Group, recently joined the IBIA ahead of the regulated Brazilian market going live in H2 2024.
The IBIA recently announced a partnership with New York-listed supplier Genius Sports to launch a global integrity partnership which will focus on anti-match fixing initiatives.
