New Betgenius report sheds light on BetBuilder wagering habits
Sports betting supplier analyses more than 500,000 bets and publishes data in new e-book

Betgenius has published a new e-book after assessing more than 500,000 accumulator bets to analyse the habits of sports betting punters.
The report – designed to demonstrate the value of BetBuilder to operators – revealed the average odds of pre-match same-game accas across 50,000 football bets placed this year was 30/1.
The average number of selections per BetBuilder accumulator is four, while match goals is the most popular market, followed by match corners, team corners and match result.
The highest turnover Premier League fixture this season among Betgenius’ BetBuilder partners was the Monday night 1-1 draw between Wolves and Manchester United in August 2019.
While clients have been lacking top-tier competitions to offer during the Covid-19 sporting blackout, one punter did win a Belarusian Premier League BetBuilder at odds of 1000/1 last weekend.
The e-book also revealed that 25% is the average margin of a same-game accumulator, while 13% of BetBuilder same-game accumulators are built with seven or more selections.
“We at Betgenius, alongside our sportsbook partners, are optimistically planning for football’s safe return across Europe this month,” said Betgenius global partnerships director Matt Stephenson.
“Starting this weekend with the Bundesliga, sportsbooks need every tool at their disposal to drive revenues and BetBuilder will be a major part of that.
“At a time when we’re all desperate to watch some live football, the product adds an extra layer of engagement on each game including betting on player performance,” he added.
Betgenius delivers the BetBuilder product in partnership with sports betting software provider Sportcast.
