NetEnt appoints new CEO
Bjorn Krantz to remain acting CEO until IT veteran Per Eriksson joins in March 2012.

Per Eriksson has been appointed CEO of gaming software supplier Net Entertainment, the company announced this morning.
Eriksson will join the Swedish company in March next year and replaces Johan Ãhman, who stepped down in August this year after five years as CEO. Interim chief executive Björn Krantz will remain in the role until that time, before returning to his previous role as managing director.
Previously Eriksson was CEO and chairman of Swedish electronics retailer Dustin AB, a role he has held since January 2007. He spent 11 years at Siemens where he rose from a trainee to director of the company’s computer division, before joining Dell in 1996. He spent a decade there before leaving his role as director of Europe, Middle East and Africa to join Dustin.
NetEnt chairman Vigo Carlund said the NetEnt board was “very pleased” to have recruited Eriksson as CEO. “Per’s well documented leadership skills and genuine IT and computer skills make a good foundation to Net Entertainment’s needs.”
This week NetEnt also announced the launch of its new Jack and the Beanstalk 3D video slot.
