NetEnt launches own affiliate site
New games.netent.com site aims to help NetEnt become part of the “proven” affiliate model

NetEnt has beta-launched its own affiliate business as part of an effort to expand its range of revenue streams.
The Swedish provider yesterday unveiled games.netent.com, where consumers can test its slots and receive bonuses for several operator site including Casumo, LeoVegas and ComeOn.
The firm said the affiliate model was a “proven method” for operators to reach new customers in a cost-efficient way.
“The method is rapidly growing and has been successful in verticals like travelling and e-commerce,” NetEnt said.
Group CEO Therese Hillman said the launch of an affiliate business was an “important and natural step” for the provider.
The firm has seen below-market growth in recent quarters, with a 6% rise in Q2 revenues to SEK 437m (€44m).
“This new strategic initiative is a great way for us to strengthen our relationship with both operators and players,” Hillman added.
“We know that we create entertaining slot games and our brands have a strong position on the market with a lot of fans and dedicated players. Through our affiliate site we’ll be able to supply operators with traffic and provide Netent fans with great content and offers when they play our games.”
NetEnt also announced today it had applied for a licence with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) to supply local operators with its online casino games.
Pennsylvania is the second large US state to regulate online casino and with almost 13 million people, it is the fifth largest state by population.
