
NetEnt appoints new CTO and game development lead in management re-shuffle
Supplier promotes Ludvig Kolmodin to CTO as chief development officer departs for mobile games developer King


NetEnt has reshuffled its senior management team in an bid to increase its focus on platform and strengthen its DevOps organisation, EGR understands.
The move has seen former chief information officer, Ludvig Kolmodin, promoted to chief technology officer and Christian Lindhoff promoted to acting chief games development officer.
Kolmodin has worked in a number of roles with NetEnt during his nine year career at the firm, including head of operations and interim CTO. He has spent the last six years as part of the senior management team.
Elsewhere, chief development officer Åsa Bredin has left the company for a role at mobile games developer King.
As a result of Bredin’s departure, Christian Lindhoff has been promoted to acting chief games development officer after spending a year and a half as head of game development at the supplier.
In a LinkedIn post, Bredin said: “It has been a fantastic journey with a lot of great people! Keep aiming for that paradise island!”
Lindhoff said his role as CGDO was to ensure NetEnt continued to break barriers and push the limits of the gaming industry via innovation, quality and people.
NetEnt is also in the process of recruiting a new CEO following the departure of Per Eriksson in March.
