NetEnt appoints permanent group CEO
Therese Hillman is promoted to replace Per Eriksson as permanent chief exec for the Swedish supplier

NetEnt has appointed interim CEO, Therese Hillman as the supplier’s permanent group chief executive, following Per Eriksson’s departure in March.
Hillman joined NetEnt in 2017 as CFO, and took on the role of interim CEO in March 2018.
Prior to her time at NetEnt, Hillman was the CEO of Swedish ecommerce company, Gymgrossisten, a subsidiary of the Qliro Group.
She also sat on the executive board for Unibet and began her career as an analyst for Handelsbanken.
NetEnt’s recently appointed executive chairman, Fredrik Erbing, said Hillman was the right person to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
“Therese has a clear business focus and is an appreciated leader with great energy. NetEnt is pioneering the online gaming industry and is taking the next step to be at the forefront of business focus and innovation,” he added.
Hillman said: “It is with great enthusiasm, but also humility, that I am taking on the role as Group CEO of NetEnt.
“I look forward to driving the development of the industry together with our customers and employees and to deliver the best player experiences.”
The supplier promoted Ludvig Kolmodin to group CTO last month amid a reshuffling of its senior management.
Revenues were up 9.2% to SEK 430m (£36.2m) in Q1 2018, after the firm pledged to cut costs to return to steady growth.
