NetEnt appoints new head of product from Yggdrasil
Patrick Mifsud Tommasi will take product ownership of the supplier’s NetEnt Connect platform

NetEnt has recruited former Yggdrasil Gaming exec Patrick Mifsud Tommasi as its new head of product for NetEnt Connect.
Tommasi started his new Malta-based role on 3 February and will report directly into NetEnt Connect director Rob Fell.
NetEnt Connect – the slots provider’s new content aggregation platform – launched in 2019.
Prior to joining NetEnt, Tommasi spent nearly two years at rival slots firm Yggdrasil Gaming, most recently as head of platforms and regulated markets.
He also worked for NYX Gaming Group until 2018.
In his new role, Tommasi will be responsible for product ownership of the NetEnt Connect platform, as well as API integrations of game studios and other suppliers into NetEnt.
Fell said of the appointment: “We are excited to have Patrick join us in the NetEnt Connect team and in the wider NetEnt Group.
“Patrick will help us take NetEnt Connect to the next level as we expand upon our initial launch with Red Tiger and he will be pivotal in the continued rollout of NetEnt Connect with third-party suppliers throughout 2020 and beyond.
“He joins at a very busy and exciting time,” he added.
