MRG turns to in-house games studio for new revenue streams
Operator is developing its own games in-house to increase its competitive edge and enter the B2B fray

Mr Green parent company, MRG, is targeting new revenue streams with its new in-house games studio dubbed Green Jade.
Group CEO Per Norman said the Green Jade team was carrying out the creative process internally, while the actual game development was being outsourced to third party development studios.
“Building games that stand out will give MRG a competitive edge” Norman said.
“In some cases we can have exclusive games so we can use that knowledge to build unique products for the MRG brands but we will also look to distribute them to other operators and create external revenues for the games.”
“The first game developed by Green Jade is called Hammer of Fortune and is an adventure slot, a new genre we have developed to be released later this year,” Norman added.
Norman has previously hinted that the operator may offer its in-house developed Green Gaming responsible gambling tool as a B2B product once stringent social responsibility regulation comes into force in Sweden.
The firm last week reported a 40% rise in Q2 revenues.
