Operator confirms Henrik Svensson's exit as it divides top marketing position into two new roles
Mr Green’s chief marketing officer Henrik Svensson has left the casino operator, sparking a reorganisation which has seen his responsibilities split into two separate roles, eGaming Review has learned.
Former Nordic Group CEO and Betway Sweden manager Svensson leaves Malta-based Mr Green after more than a year-and-a-half and is set to return to his native Sweden.
Mr Green CEO Mikael Pawlo confirmed Svensson’s departure and said the decision to separate his duties between two roles had been designed to “maintain velocity” in its operations and roll-out activities.
Fredrik Stael von Holstein has been brought in to serve as Mr Green’s chief marketing manager while Stein-Erik Myhre has been hired to take responsibility for the group’s customer acquisition efforts and manage the operator’s activities in its various jurisdictions.
“We are sad to see Henrik go and wish him all the best for his future endeavours, but at the same time we are very happy about new very strong recruitments,” Pawlo added.
Von Holstein joins the firm having previously worked as a CRM consultant for the gaming industry and will be familiar with Mr Green Online CEO Bo Wänghammar, having previously worked with him at online merchant firm Letsbuyit.com.
