Monkey Knife Fight secures NFL Players Association partnership
NFLPA nets ownership stake in DFS operator as part of long-term agreement

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) has entered a long-term, multi-faceted partnership with the NFL Players Association (NFLPA).
The partnership, which was brokered by sports agency OneTeam Partners, will see the NFLPA take an ownership stake in MKF.
The multi-year agreement includes licensing agreements, joint marketing campaigns and NFL player promotion of the MKF brand.
Bill Asher, MKF CEO, described the partnership as a “landmark” moment for the operator.
Asher said: “Monkey Knife Fight has always distinguished itself from other gaming platforms by letting fans play contests that are focused on their favorite athletes.
“Our relationship with the NFLPA will allow us to connect fans to players on a whole new level. We are looking forward to this landmark partnership,” he added.
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson said: “We grew up with fantasy sports, and the players have been looking for an opportunity like this.
“Daily fantasy sports, in particular, is a booming new business, and we’re excited to lock arms with one of the fastest growing fantasy sports companies in the country right now,” he added.
Elsewhere, MKF emerged victorious last night at the EGR North America Virtual Awards 2020, securing the coveted DFS operator of the year title.
