Midnite snaps up former Sky Bet trading head as vice-president of sportsbook
Zach Amin joins the challenger brand following an 11-year stint at the Flutter-owned operator

Midnite has appointed former Sky Bet exec Zach Amin as the company’s new vice-president of sportsbook.
Amin takes on the role with the UK-facing challenger brand after spending more than 11 years working for Sky Bet and its parent, Flutter Entertainment, in various capacities.
Most recently, Amin served as Sky Bet’s head of trading from September 2022 until March 2025.
He initially joined Sky Betting & Gaming as a football trader in December 2013, a position he would hold until March 2016.
He then moved up to become a football trading supervisor until December 2017, before assuming the role of football trading manager until July 2019.
Amin was then appointed as head of pre-match football at Sky Betting & Gaming from July 2019 until September 2022.
During his time with the Leeds-based bookmaker, Sky Bet’s then-parent company The Stars Group was acquired by Paddy Power Betfair in 2019 in a £10bn deal, before rebranding to Flutter Entertainment.
Amin becomes Midnite’s latest vice-president, with Chris Cannon having been promoted to vice-president of finance in January after almost three years as head of finance at the operator.
Other vice-presidents at the privately owned operator include former PokerStars head Jonathan Shaw as vice-president of growth and one-time Bumble exec Ryan Murton heading up commercial.
Writing on LinkedIn about his move to Midnite, Amin said: “I’ve joined the team at Midnite after an incredible 11 years at Sky Bet and Flutter. From starting out as a bang-average trader to (hopefully) slightly above average; it’s been an amazing journey.
“Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to be part of and witness some unforgettable moments and innovations as we set the standard in customer-first thinking from World Cups and Euros to countless Cheltenham Festivals, as well as Request-A-Bet, Soccer Saturday Price Boosts and Acca Freeze.
“A huge thank you to all my colleagues over the years who made Sky Bet such a fantastic place to work.”
Last week, Midnite launched its first ever TV ad campaign in the UK market.
The 30-second advert debuted on 27 March and is scheduled to be broadcast across Sky, Channel 4, Channel 5 and each channel’s respective streaming platforms.
