
MGM Resorts strikes multi-year deal with NFL Players Association
Operator and players body to collaborate on hospitality and strategic initiatives


MGM Resorts International has inked a multi-year agreement to become the strategic and hospitality partner of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).
Under the terms of the agreement, MGM and the NFLPA will collaborate on both content and fan experiences with current and former NFL players.
In addition, the partnership includes the provision of hospitality benefits to NFL players, with MGM Resorts’ properties serving as the host location for a variety of NFL player-related events.
The duo will also collaborate on a series of NFL season -related hospitality events/experiences at properties in Las Vegas, geared around the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl Games and Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas as well as the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit.
Additionally, active NFL players and NFL alumni will be eligible to enter into individual ambassador agreements to promote MGM Resorts through appearances, social media posts, autographed memorabilia, and advertisements.
MGM Resorts SVP of sports and sponsorships Lance Evans lauded the firm’s latest partnership.
“Partnering with the NFLPA is another indication of our strong commitment to the great sport of football across the US,” Evans said.
“As football’s premier events come to Las Vegas, we look forward to welcoming players and creating world-class experiences for MGM Rewards members,” he added.
MGM has existing partnerships with the NFL and outside of football, with MLB Players, the business arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA).
MGM is due to report its fourth quarter 2022 results on February 8.
